Statewide ICN Classes by IASL

Be the Change You Want to See in Your School by Getting Connected -- September 15, 2010 4:00-5:30

Plan to attend this exciting educational session that will show you how to connect to your school community and world through social networks such as blogs, Twitter, Skype, YouTube, Diigo, Facebook, and others. The amount of resources and connections you can bring to your students, teachers, and community is amazing through social networking and web 2.0 tools. Join Shannon Miller and her students at Van Meter School as she takes you on this journey through these and real life examples of how they are used.

Shannon’s presentation will be immediately followed by information about the IASL. Please stay on to become familiar with your professional organization that works so hard to support student achievement through our school libraries!

This ICN session has been planned by the Iowa Association of School Librarians (IASL).

There is no cost for this session. Register through Iowa Public Television.
